Our new kitty

For those of you who don't know our kitty Miley ran away and has not been seen for quite some time. This is our new kitty Wiskey...Gracie named her all by herself :) Justin and I gave Wiskey to the girls for Christmas ~ Wiskey and Hannah are getting along just fine!

Extreme Home Make Over !!

The 5 volunteers.....Let me just tell you that it was COLD and you had to have your T-shirt over your coats (and six other layers! ) So we've already added 30lbs to ourselves ...It's a good thing we never ended up around any camera crews :)

Somehow after picking up trash and walking around looking for these nice looking designers we landed the job of the night ~ We were taken to the tent that Ed was in ~ He was making beautiful furniture and there we were ready to help!! They asked us if we could sand &/or stain wood and we were like YEAH of course we can!!! So Ed explained what he needed help with and we spent the rest of the night listening to his amazing accent ...I loved it when he called us sweetheart :)

We were invited back today for a "shooting" but they said it could take up to 4 hrs and I'm feeling the guilt of missing out on the girls yesterday so we are not sure if we are going to go today or not!?! The actual show is in Chapman and it's about 30 min from Manhattan ....The word is that it will be a 2hr special on January 25th!!! The town of Chapman was hit very hard this summer with a tornado and Extreme Makeover is doing much more than just one home ...they are working on other peoples homes with odd jobs, giving furniture, a memorial park and a community center. We also were able to help pour concrete for the new sign that welcomes you into Chapman. It was a really great experience!

Silly Ella

Gracie only wanted to make silly faces for the pics - She really wanted her face painted Green but after much talk we both agreed to lots of glitter and just a little color !!!

While we were waiting on dad to get home I was helping Gracie get ready for Halloween while Ella took it upon herself to "face paint" on her own....It was great ...15 min before we were supposed to be looking like a lady bug :)

Parade

We took the fam to Warrensburg again this year for the parade. The girls has a great time catching all that candy & playing with their cousins. After the parade we went to the park with some friends ~ It was a great weekend!!

Gracie's Field Trip

Gracie & I went to Lambert's Pumpkin Patch on Friday for Gracie's school! Lambert's is in Topeka so Gracie got to ride the bus with her class and I hitched a ride with another mom. We had a blast!!

Ella's 1st Haircut

Here is a pic from Ella's first haircut tonight! It went very well! Gracie went first so that she could show Ella what to do.

Park !!

I wanted to show pics from inside the bouncy house but they all turned out blurry :) We went to a bank function today for all the kids who have First Kids savings accounts. Melinda was in charge and she did a BBQ with a bouncy house!!! All of the kids loved it! Ella was peeking out to make sure that I was watching!! Gracie was peeking out because she needed me to go and get her a drink - obvioulsy she couldn't do this herself...she was having to much fun.
Ella has just noticed Bubba the Bear and is getting ready to run towards him!!!
Gracie thought he was pretty cool too! If you ask me we need to get an updated bear outfit. This one looks a little on the old side :)

It's TWINS!!!!

We think this is Hannah
& We think this is Miley
So we have decided to name these kitty's Hannah & Miley ( for those of you who know Hannah Montana this should make sense ) Hannah Montana & Miley Cirus are the same person and since we can not tell these sweet little girls apart we thought it would be funny to named them this way :) The girls are in LOVE with them but Gracie thinks they are both hers and that Ella doesn't get one. She claims Ella does not know how to hold them correctly ( this is true )

Can you believe it?!?!?

After jumping several times to her dad she started to jump into the water with NO HELP!! This was a huge step for Miss Gracie! She had a great time once she figured out that she didn't need us anymore!

Not So Hot First Day Of School Pics

So Gracie had a rough start...Missed the 1st two days of kindergarten because she was sick :( so I will forgive her for not letting me take really cute pics of her first day of school :) She wanted nothing to do with the camera at all!!

New Pics

We had the LONGEST day at Portrait Innovations yesterday but I think the pics turned out pretty good ~ I would never recommend taking your children there on a saturday our appt was at 2:10 and we left at 5:30.............. Anyway just wanted to share some new pics of the girls. I'll post more later we had a great trip to Bennett Springs MO on the weekend of the 19th so more pics coming soon!!! P.S Kelly ~ We need to figure out how you can take pics of the girls next time !!!

Our dog Bullet

Bullet has officially been missing since morning of July 8th ~ We have had Bullet for 13 years and we are pretty certain that she has gone off to dog heaven ~ Bullet has been a GREAT dog and she will be missed terribly at our house. She first left the house on the morning of July 5th after our company left ~ Gracie and I put out flyer's around the neighborhood and were able to find her morning of the 8th. Justin picked her up and brought her home but she wasn't looking so hot - after we left that morning she wondered off again and we have not been able to find her since. WE WILL MISS YOU BULLET!
